She's a star daughter, a fashion designer, a ramp model and has already starred in one of the highest grossing films in Bollywood history. As Sonakshi Sinha turns 24 (2nd June), audiences can be rest assured that they're going to be seeing a lot more of this statuesque beauty.
Born to famed Bollywood actor turned politician Shatrughan Sinha and his wife Poonam, Sonakshi studied fashion designing before she lost a considerable amount of weight and to walk the ramp. She made her acting debut in Dabangg, where she played Rajo to Salman Khan's Chulbul Pandey. Sonakshi received rave reviews for her performance and was flooded with offers. She will soon be seen on the big screen in Shirish Kunder's Joker in which she stars opposite Akshay Kumar. Sonakshi endorses some top beauty products and clothing brands and also has films such as Race 2 and Kick in her kitty.
The popular newbie has already received quite a few wishes on her micro-blogging site. Her Dabangg producer Arbaaz Khan was the first one to wish his star actress. He tweeted, "Happy Birthday Sonakshi Sinha. Have a great day and fantastic year ahead. Wishing the Dabangg girl super success in life:-)"
