Sanjay Dutt and Vivek Oberoi come face to face

Sanjay and Vivek Oberoi will have a face off in their next, Zilla Ghaziabad. Just like their last film together, Shootout At Lokhandwala even this one has been based on a real story wherein Vivek plays a gangster and Sanjay a cop.

A unit member says, “Both Sanju and Vivek are playing powerful larger than life characters and have quite a few confrontation scenes.” Since there is chin-to-chin fighting, we wonder it will remind them of their earlier personal equation.

Zarine Khan actually took one of her fans for a bike ride, recently. The young guy, who is a huge fan of the Veer actress, expressed a desire to get a ride on her bicycle and to his pleasant surprise Zarine agreed to do so. The fan’s grin was way longer than the ride he was taken on.

Clash of Titans!

Two Bollywood stalwarts like Big B and Aamir Khan rarely clash at the box office. Amitabh Bachchan’s Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap and Aamir Khan’s Delhi Belly are all set to release this Friday. Both are drastically different films, but interestingly have similar marketing and publicity techniques.

Both have cashed on the burning topic ‘the age limit for drinking in Maharshtra’. While Big B tweeted about it incessantly, Imran Khan announced his plans of filing a Public Interest Litigation. Both have relied on the strategy of abuse or not to abuse. While DB has ‘in-your-face’ songs with abundant use of double meaning words and expletives, AB’s Bbuddah has beeped the abuses. Also, both Aamir and Big B have turned item boys for their respective films. With so much efforts being put in by both parties, it would be fun to see who wins this BO race on July 1.

Preity Zinta now into film production…

Preity Zinta has launched her own production banner, PZNZ Media, and is all set to produce her first film this year, a romcom to be directed by Prem Soni.
Preity, who has yet to pick the cast for the film, tells a formal announcement will be made soon. A part of the film will be shot abroad, but strictly on a budget. The actress is confident that she will succeed as a producer because she can work hard and has the right instinct when it comes to film scripts.
“It’s an instinct for choosing the right movie that’d got me where I am today,” she points out.
A friend prompted Preity to turn film producer, pointing out that she had jumped into IPL without knowing anything about cricket so she could certainly produce a film.
“Of course, after that I took a course at the Harvard Business School, asked a million questions and gave two years to the game. Film is my core competence and it should be easier focusing on it,” Preity says.
“Suddenly, the sky is bluer, the birds are singing and life is so cool,” she adds.
Prem Soni’s last film, Main Aur Mrs Khanna, headlining Salman Khan bombed at the box office, but Preity is unfazed.
“I’d rather work with someone who’s fallen down hard than someone who’s at the top because he’s driven to go out there and prove a point to the world. Even Imtiaz Ali’s first film, Socha Na Tha, wasn’t a blockbuster but today everyone wants to work with him,” Preity says.

Most Searched Bollywood Stars 2011 - Salman Khan Sonakshi Sinha

1) Both have been named the most searched Indian celebrities on the web in a new survey by movie portal.

Sallu Bhai beats Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan in the survey carried across the metros as well as tier-II and tier-III cities. Ranbir Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor wrapped up the top five.

And If I am talking about Sonakshi Sinha then she came ahead of the likes of Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif to be the most searched celebrity on the internet among the female brigade.

Piggy Chops came second and Sonam Kapoor followed at the third slot. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Katz landed at the fourth and fifth spots in the survey.

(2) Salman Khan saw the final two matches of World Cup 2011 only to study the temperament of the bodyguards patrolling close to the VIPs on the D-days.

He has been greatly inspired by his close friend and B-town Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan to do a thorough research on the character to be portrayed, and as such the ‘Bodyguard’ hero remained glued to his seat to observe the functioning of the bodyguards at the stadium, during the game.

(3) Salman Khan Kangana Ranaut Together Again:- She was out with her friends around midnight and made an impromptu detour to meet him when she heard that he was shooting at Filmistan Studios and was on the sets for around four hours and was later spotted leaving in his car.

She was to act in Salman Khan Home Production directed by Mahesh Manjrekar but script changes got the film shelved.
