Is Salman ‘Ready’ for a Hat Trick?

It’s less than a month to go for Salman’s Ready. The actor who has managed to give a Wanted in 2009 and an earth shattering hit like Dabanng in 2010 is all ‘Ready’ on June 3, 2011. The music of the film is already out and one can hear the Dhika Chika track from the film being played all across the country. Salman has already assured his fans that they will get to see the typical heroism of Bollywood in this film. Salman who manged a much needed hit with Wanted by remaking the Telugu super-duper hit Pokiri is again back with a remake in the form of Ready. Ready (titled the same in Telugu) was also a smash hit down south a couple of years ago.

With Anees Bazmee at the helm of affairs, a few changes, Sallu’s punch dialogues and the man himself, this film could sure mark a hat trick for the Dabanng star. Wishing Salman all the best for Ready.

Imran, Aamir Khan together on screen for the first time.

The latest trailer of “Delhi Belly”, to come out July 19, will bring together Aamir and Imran Khan for the first time in a mock-argument over the colourful and lurid content of the adult comedy.

The trailer, shot by the film’s director Abhhinay Deo last week, is bound to raise more eyebrows than anything that has ever come out from the distinguished Aamir Khan Productions.

“Aamir wants the potential audience for ‘Delhi Belly’ to know that this is not a film for the squeamish or the purists. By bringing Imran into the discussion on aesthetics and how ‘Delhi Belly’ will reverse Aamir’s image as a producer, Aamir clearly wants to let the world know that ‘Delhi Belly’ is the ultimate culture shock for Aamir’s fans,” said a source.

“It’s all in fun. But it will shock Aamir’s and Imran’s fans out of their wits. Aamir has always been known to be this no-nonsense guardian-like figure to Imran… to see him let off a chain of maa-bahen gaalis in front of Aamir is quite an aesthetic shock,” added the source.

Apparently, Imran was hesitant about using the maa-bahen lingo in front of Aamir.

“But Aamir told Imran to relax and just let go. After that Imran did just that. When viewers see him mouthing those beep-beep sweet-nothings in front of Aamir they’ll simply freak out,” said the source.

When confirmation was sought on the gaali-quotient in the Imran-Aamir trailer from “Delhi Belly” co-producer UTV’s Siddharth Roy Kapoor and Deo, they both chose to remain silent. They’ve been told to maintain utmost secrecy about the shocker-trailer until it is aired.
